I am a proud member of the Swinomish Indian Tribe in Northwest Washington, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and support my tribe has provided me throughout my journey. My education and professional experiences have shaped my mission to empower small businesses and tribal entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the financial and technological tools to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Western Washington University and am currently pursuing a Master of Professional Accounting with a focus on Business Analysis and Reporting from Eastern Washington University. My academic background, combined with hands-on expertise in financial systems management, expense tracking, reporting, and point-of-sale system implementation, allows me to provide strategic, data-driven financial solutions to businesses of all sizes.

My goal with Cedar Roots Financial is to leverage my knowledge and skills to help small businesses succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world. I understand that many entrepreneurs, especially those from underrepresented communities, face barriers to financial stability and sustainable growth. Through affordable, practical financial services and technology consulting, I hope to reduce these challenges and equip businesses with the expertise they need to build strong financial foundations.

Beyond supporting small businesses, I am deeply committed to advancing economic sovereignty for Native American enterprises. I believe that economic independence is a key driver of tribal sovereignty, allowing Indigenous communities to prosper today and create a sustainable, thriving future for future generations. By providing tailored financial and business consulting services, I hope to assist tribal entrepreneurs in launching and growing successful businesses that contribute to long-term self-sufficiency and economic empowerment.

Before launching Cedar Roots Financial, I owned and operated a successful web design firm, which gave me firsthand experience in entrepreneurship and the challenges small business owners face. This experience, combined with my financial expertise, fuels my vision of building strong, lasting client relationships and delivering customized solutions that drive long-term success. My passion lies in helping businesses grow, optimize operations, and achieve financial clarity, ensuring they have the tools to thrive, adapt, and prosper in an ever-evolving business environment.
